Seven Hand Drawn Chakra Mandalas
The beginners in my belly dancing class were asked to decorate the stage, so as well as making loads and loads of huge pom poms for our Tribal bunting, I created seven hand drawn mandalas to hang up. These were created on A3 canvas using black sharpies, and gold, silver and bronze pens. I don't think I will ever get fed up of drawing mandalas. I love most things with lots of patterns and texture. However, it was quite difficult drawing on canvas as my pens kept dragging on the deep texture. Still, they came out okay. They took about 4 hours each to complete.
